Description
Featuring, OptiCool, Sealy's name for a gel memory foam that is fused with Outlast, a phase-change material, in an application that is a Sealy exclusive. The new Sealy design is 12 times more effective than standard memory foam or gel alone in removing excess heat during the night. The four new beds use half-an-inch of OptiCool gel memory foam and are positioned at the top end of the Posturepedic line

Finding the right top cushioning is a matter of personal taste. That's why Sealy offers a wide range of surface feels or comfort choices. Each one designed to provide a consistent level of support throughout the mattress.
Sleep sets come with a standard boxspring which has a height of 9". Please note that a low-profile boxspring is also be available which has a height of 5".
The Stonington products come in four choices of comfort: firm/plush, or firm/plush euro pillowtop. These products feature the Core Support Center that is found in the center third of the mattress. The Core Support Center provides enhanced support to the sleeper in the area of the mattress where it is needed most. It also reinforces the center third where the heaviest part of the body sleeps on the mattress.
South Park products also feature a full layer of memory foam in the comfort layers. Memory foam is a very conforming and durable type of foam found in the luxury Posturepedic models.
These models feature the Titanium Dual Stage coil system that provides the deep down firm support needed for total body support as well as a conforming support. Titanium coils are twice as strong as steel.
South Park products also feature the SitRight Edge Support System that allows the sleeper to maximize the full sleep surface of the mattress as well as delivering a firm seating edge.
All three comfort choices come with Lift Right Surround Handles, which are found on the sides of the mattress. They also have a handle at the head & foot of the bed for additional access points. These handles provide multiple gripping points wherever you need them for lifting and/or positioning the mattress.
The Stay Tight Foundation found on all 2012 Posturepedic models uses a rubberized grid fabric panel that allows the mattress, sheets, & bed skirts to stay in place.
